The Corporate Agent Extension enables users to act as Corporate Agents, allowing them to log in and operate on behalf of subsidiary customer users—those associated with child customer accounts. This is particularly valuable for businesses managing multiple subsidiaries, as it simplifies account switching and operational control without the need for back-office access.
Key Features & Benefits
Two New Capabilities: The Corporate Agent – Impersonate Subsidiaries capability enables customer users to act as Corporate Agents. The Corporate Agent – Represent subsidiary on impersonation capability enables to define which subsidiary users can be impersonated.
Storefront Integration: A new Impersonate Subsidiary bar is added to the storefront. However, it is visible only when impersonation conditions are met. The impersonation bar is hidden when agents are logged in via back-office impersonation or if no subsidiaries are available.
Impersonation Process: A Corporate Agent must choose a subsidiary and click the Log in button in the impersonation bar to initiate the impersonation. They will receive immediate feedback through flash messages indicating success or failure.
