The Shopping Cart extension complements OroCommerce’s existing shopping workflow by providing a standalone cart feature. It is designed to align visually and functionally with the Shopping List interface while offering a distinct space for purchase-ready items.
Each Customer User is assigned a single active cart. Products can be added to the cart directly from product listing or detail pages, via the Quick Order Form, or transferred from a Shopping List. The extension also allows users to manage cart line items in bulk, transfer items between the cart and shopping lists, and convert the cart into an order.
In addition, guest users are supported with automatic cart merging on login, and cart-related permissions can be controlled using Access Control Lists (ACLs).
In the back-office, administrators and sales reps can view all carts associated with a customer or customer user. Users can also export carts to CSV, using a format compatible with the Quick Order Form, enabling easy sharing and reordering workflows.
