The Subdirectory Routing extension enables automatic generation of clean, consistent URLs to improve site organization and enhance SEO by creating clear, descriptive URL paths. Subdirectories are generated based on normalized names—lowercase with non-alphanumeric characters replaced by dashes.

Admin Configuration: Adds a new config option, Enable Subdirectory Routing, under System Configuration > Websites > Routing > General to enable or disable subdirectory routing.
Automated URL Structure: Automatically generates subdirectory URLs from organization and website names using a consistent /<organization_name>/<website_name> format.
