Tableau Integration enables seamless embedding of Tableau dashboards into the Oro application back-office, offering enhanced data visualization and reporting directly within the Oro platform. It supports Tableau versions 2021.4 and above, leveraging the Tableau Embedded API v3 for secure and dynamic integration.

Tableau Dashboard Integration:
Adds a new “Tableau” dashboard type within Oro.
Supports three embedded Tableau component types:
View – Embed interactive visual reports.
Authoring – Embed Tableau’s authoring environment.
Ask Data – Embed natural language querying interface.
Uses Tableau “Share” links for embedding.
Simplified Authentication:
Oro can generate Tableau authorization tokens automatically.
Supports configuration as a Tableau Connected App for secure token-based access.
Manual authentication fallback is provided if integration fails.
Tableau Integration Management:
Create and manage Tableau integrations in Oro back-office.
Fields include: Name, Client ID, Secret ID, Secret Value, Server Domain, Scopes, and Status.
Only one active integration is allowed at a time.
Tableau Accounts Mapping:
Create and assign Tableau Accounts to Oro Users.
Supports different Tableau and Oro user emails.
Allows shared Tableau accounts across multiple users.
Permission-based access control for managing and assigning accounts.
Oro Context Menu Support (for Tableau Views):
Enables opening linked Oro entities directly from Tableau dashboard marks.
Configurable reference field for flexible integration.
